You'll explore the foundational theories - from Maslow and Herzberg to McGregor and Alderfer - alongside contemporary approaches including Self-Determination Theory, psychological safety, and the motivational impact of AI and hybrid work.
By the end, you'll know how to identify what motivates each individual colleague, apply the right tools, and build a workplace where people genuinely want to perform.
By the end of the training, participants will:
Understand the foundational theories of motivation and how they apply in a real workplace context.
Be able to identify what motivates each individual colleague and select the appropriate motivational tools accordingly.
Recognise the consequences of demotivation and know how to prevent and address them effectively.
